DSC_0463Hiking with kids can sometimes be tough. Little legs get tired quickly and complaining sets in.  However, if your “hike” is filled with exploring and climbing, you are sure to cover ground while not even having them realize it you’re moving.

We visited Provo River Falls, East of Kamas to see the waterfalls and rocks.  TJ was wearing my GPS Running watch.  We climbed around on the rocks up and down the river, stopped and ate sandwiches, dipped our feet in the water, etc.  We ended up walking more than a mile, and nobody even noticed.  There was so much exploring going on, it never once seemed like we were going anywhere.

We love excursions like this. We did the same type of thing when we were in NH a few weeks ago. Wonderful!

That place looks cool… I had not heard of it. Gonna have to take the fam and check it out.

It’s quite a drive, but totally worth it. Everyone I know who have been up there loves it! Exactly 100 miles from Lehi (or 86 cause we made a wrong turn), and 24 miles up from Kamas. Get there soon, the leaves are already changing!
