Want to buy British-grown mange-tout?

by Elizabeth, Healthy Eating Made Easy

Great news, this summer you can shun those packs of shrivelled veggies that have been freighted such a long way, and buy British-grown mange-tout and Marks & Spencer.

As befits a seasonal vegetable, they'll be available for just a few weeks until the end of August. The British mange-tout have been grown in Chipping Camden in the beautiful Cotswolds, by the Haines family.

How much more appetising, than a long-distance vegetable. Other supermarkets, please follow suit.

For ideas on how to use your fresh and tasty mange-tout see our Snow Pea Recipes.
